It was raining one day when Rose was on her way to the supermarket. It was raining so hard that it was impossible for her to walk in the streets without getting wet, even if she had an umbrella. Upon seeing a coffee shop nearby, Rose thought of spending her time by having coffee and her favorite cookies, while waiting for the rain to stop. As she was seated in a corner, she saw a man across her table that looked very familiar. She tried her best to recall where he saw the man before and then just when she was about to leave, she remembered that the man was Peter Bailey, a famous sport psychologist on a TV show. He must have seen her smiling as she passed by his table because he smiled back at her. If she only had more guts, she would have wanted to have her shirt autographed by the said TV personality. Unfortunately, she had to be content with just a smile. Rose left for the supermarket feeling great after having seen Mr. Bailey in person. |

When Maria arrived in the school building, she noticed a memo posted on the bulletin board so she went nearer to read what it was about. She learned that the memo was addressed to all teachers, informing them that some students will have to miss their classes in the next two days because they will be sent as representatives of the school for the upcoming leadership training. The training will take place in another venue, not anymore within the campus as practiced the previous years. Maria was happy to know that the students are getting more opportunities to join such activities. Being the school counselor, Maria volunteered to be the one to chaperone the participants. She thought that by being there, she will also be able to hone her skills as facilitator. The principal was so happy about Maria's initiative. When she gave Maria the go signal, Maria went home earlier in order to pack the things she may need for the next two days. The next day, the kids were so happy to find out that Maria is joining them. |

An acquaintance of mine now works as a wedding photographer in Berkshire, and we naturally got onto the topic of photography. I explained how I got into it myself. When I was in class seven, the World Cup Cricket’s excitement covered everywhere. The newspapers published sports news and quiz competitions with colorful presentations. I also participated in that competition and won first prize: a camera. I felt very excited and kept it into my cupboard. I did not use my camera for a long time. Since I was in class eight, a photography fair was held in my school campus. There were so many pictures submitted on varying topics: village life, birds, forests, animals etc. After reaching my home that day, I took out my camera and examined it. However, I had no film (this was before digitial cameras), so I again kept it there. I saved money for film, and eventually bought a reel. I went to my veranda, camera poised. Suddenly I saw a beautiful bird was sitting on the roof of my house. I took my first photo….a conspicuous "click" came from the device. My first photo, a blurry photo of a bird. While not perfect, this photo has huge sentimental value to me. |

My friends and I are going fishing and not just the type that we go to the lake with our fishing poles and start to fish. We are thinking about serious fishing, one that we will remember for the rest of our lives. We have gone fishing a couple of times but we all believe that since we were all inexperienced, that we were actually not doing the right thing, that is why even though the trips were fun it wasn’t fully satisfying in the fishing aspect. That is why when we come across information about Lake Texoma striper guides we became curious and when we learned what they do we knew we have to get the services of an expert so that we could finally know what it feels like be able to get a good catch. We already inquired online and we are just waiting for a reply so we could arrange and schedule everything and head out to the best adventure of our lives. |
