DHSS Benefits Are An Advantage Because They Cover Everyone Even Unemployed People

When I graduated from university with a degree in social sciences, I could not be able to get a job immediately. I was on the move day in day out on a job hunting spree and was not successful for a while. My bills started piling up, my water got turned off, my electricity also got cut out, the house of very cold because I could not use the heater, and I also could not be able to cook because of I did not have electricity, so I had to survive on food stamps. My problems were mounting up. Being to proud to beg, I decided to apply for dhss benefits because they offered unemployment benefits for the unemployed. They had a few terms and conditions which I was more than ready to comply with because I was really desperate. I was given the benefits on condition that I would continue searching for a job and when I got any job, be it full time or part time, I report to them. I did as asked and lived off the unemployment benefits for a month after which I got a job. I am forever grateful for the benefits because if it were not for them, I wouldn't have survived.
