Marrissa is a name that sounds very familiar when it comes to the film OC that covered over three seasons consecutively. This is a name that comes with the body of an individual who acted as Marrissa in a film, but come to meet her in person, she is not actually Marrissa but mischa barton, a British American model with the desire to succeed in her modeling career. Mischa is a very friendly person with a cheeky character that leaves you smiling all through the conversation because of how she views life as an easy task that everybody who wakes up early enough can manage to achieve. She is also in the film industry and television doing quite a tremendous job in her acting career and this has kind of upgraded her from the model that she was before acting and the model that she is now that she is into acting. Her success is devotedly supported by her desire to achieve great stuff in the future which is why she is starring in big films soon as she hopes. |

Determination is what we define as going after our dreams even when we know that so many obstacles exist in the way. This is what has made many celebrities get to the point where they are at the moment. An actor like liam neeson could not have got to the level he is at the moment if he had opted to look for a job after university. Instead, we see him going to Dublin immediately after his university education in order to further his career in acting. He knew all long that he was good in acting and he enjoyed it so much, that was whey he went out of his way to ensure that he got what he wanted. This is the kind of attitude people need in order to become the best in whatever they do. Nothing good will come our way if we relax with whatever we have we have to follow our dreams wherever they are and this determination is what will get us to the level we have always wanted to be. |

I recently graduated from university with a business degree. I was fortunate enough to get a great job as a stockbroker at an investment bank. After a few months I decided to construct a profile with LinkedIn. It is relatively easy to use as there is lots of information that can be read prior to posting. Not only can other businesses find you, but you can find other businesses to help your own business - anything from someone that can help you with corporate brochure design to doing your accounts for you. It is important to ensure all details are accurate as you have to remember you are posting information that can be read by anyone including your employer. In a few weeks I was contacted by a number of businesses to see if I was interested in working for them. I declined their offers. I am quite happy where I am. I guess I decided to list on LinkedIn as I would like to be writing short finance pieces for magazines such as Bloomberg or The Economist. So hopefully one day they will contact me. It would be fantastic. |

The wrath of disobeying the law can sometimes be so damning for a victim who is found in the fault. But this is not only with individuals but also in companies as they can as well break a law and be in for it. Online services are the once who are now fond of practicing illegal activities and go free. But for some countries, every wrong is punishable no matter where it is done, whether it is via the internet or just within a local company. The online services such as the social networks where the users get to participate in various activities are the points where the authourities need to work on most. Recently, facebook uk tel services were caught with damning activities that were posing great influences to the users. But UK being one of those countries that do not spare a fault, they took serious measures and are now planning to block facebook services from their country. This they believe is the only sure way that they will stop the same fault from repeating itself. |

Myspace is a common site whereby people get to communicate with their friends as well as family. You might have been using your account for a very long time now, and maybe you feel like the information you put in your profile is no longer valid so you wish to get rid of it. You could be wondering how can i delete my myspace account without loosing my friendds information. The good news is that this is very much possible. You will first of all have to transfer all the information that you would like to keep in your new account, after you are through with making the transfers, you can now open your old account and then go to the account tab and search for the delete option. When you click on this tab, they will bring up a pop up on your desktop asking you if you are sure you want to delete your account. If so, click on the OK button, allow the process to take place and then when it reaches one hundred percent, you will be sure that your account no longer exists. |

If there is one social network that has had many people raving about it, then it is facebook. The safety that comes with facebook is what makes many people become very fond of it. There are all sorts of people in facebook, there are high school kids, there are college students, parents, politicians, public figures, celebrities, and even religious leaders. This is to show that many people trust this site and if they did not, then chances that they would have joined it would be really small. If anybody is uploads pictures that are full of nudity, a clear violation of the terms of facebook, then they are going to experience a massive case of Close Facebook. This can be brought to the attention to the managers of facebook, by the facebook users themselves. If they see that another is being that inappropriate, then they are going to report that photo and it will then be brought to the attention of the security personnel of facebook and they will take care of the matter as it is supposed to be dealt with. If it is a clear violation of the terms, then they are going to close that facebook account. |

When I was twelve, I lived in a small New Jersey town across the Hudson River from Manhattan. My parents and I lived together with my maternal grandparents who had immigrated from Italy many years before.
My mother and father both had only a sixth grade education and were working class. When I was in the sixth grade, a family from Germany moved next door. They had two girls my age and we soon became friends in school and at home. Totally different than me, they were both tall, blond, and slender. But the biggest difference was our backgrounds. Their parents were well-educated, well-read, well-traveled and were financially quite comfortable. Their mother was a professional musician and their father an engineer.
They were allowed to enter the country from Germany soon after World War II with no problem because of his engineering expertise. One weekend summer afternoon, they asked my parents if I could go with them for a drive across the George Washington Bridge to New York City for the day.
My parents agreed and we drove to the Upper East Side, pulling up in front of the most gigantic and lovely building I had ever seen in my life. My friends excitedly told me it was the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which they had apparently been to numerous times. I, on the other hand, had never been in a museum and, although I acted excited, I really did not know what to expect when we entered - my only experience of art was the graffiti artwork on the walls on New York.
As we walked into the main lobby with its height and breadth, I was in awe. Stepping onto the grand staircase, we strolled through room after room of paintings and sculptures. I began to think I was in a dream. I was a fairy princess I was a rich debutante living in a mansion I was anything but a little hick who had no experience with art or art galleries or artists. As we looked at the paintings, I heard names like Van Gogh, Boucher, El Greco, all names that meant nothing to me, but the works of art had no description in my vocabulary. They were exquisite and awe-inspiring. I had a special feeling when we were viewing the artwork of Asia, with inscriptions like Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, artifacts from a Fourteenth Century mosque, Egyptian sphinxes and so many other items that held me in their grip.
When it was time to leave, I almost cried to have to turn my back on so much beauty and culture. It was an eye-opening experience that I will never forget. As a matter of fact, I believe that my life was changed by that visit. My imagination opened up to the world around me and the knowledge that there was so much more to see in the world. It gave me a hunger to learn about it, which I did from that day on. The special feeling I got when I was transfixed by the Asian art in the museum eventually led me to that part of the world as an antiquities dealer where I spent my days wandering through Indian, Egyptian, and Indonesian sreets filled with vendors' stalls that held the wonders of their culture. I owe a lot to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, a lifetime of exciting travels and culture that may never had happened if it wasn't for that first visit. I am still close friends with the sisters and, strangely, when I told them the story of our trip to the Met, they didn't even remember it! |
